Good.

Three are the main ingredients that make a recording studio a true place of musical creation. Space, gear and knowledge. MD has it all and then some, plus the best drum room in the city in my humble opinion. What makes me jump at every opportunity to work there though, is Nikos’ incomparable work ethic and co-operative spirit. Whether is a personal project, session work where I am given the freedom to record wherever I please or when Nikos hires me for his own productions, having worked with him quite a lot for the past few years has made me a better musician, without a doubt. The beautiful, chill backyard that serves as the best studio lounge anyone could ask for (in a country that is sunny 8-9 months of the year) is just an added (and very welcomed) bonus!

With his unique combination of superb technical control (of both hardware and software), great comfortable facilities, wonderful local connections, and finally- authentic musical knowledge and taste, Nikos can really tackle any musical challenge with a variety of methods and tools (and my music specifically, with its blend of oriental rhythms, jazz harmonies, field-recorded tracks and cross-continental collaborations.. is very challenging indeed). I hired Nikos in various roles- as an engineer, producer, and arranger. He does all of the above with great sense and taste, while always making sure I’m in the know and fully satisfied.
